Susan Ways - Barre Teacher

Susan Ways

Susan (me) is the founder, owner, and lead instructor of New Ways Barre, a vibrant barre studio dedicated to helping others transform their bodies and lives through mindful movement. After experiencing the life-changing benefits of barre firsthand — from being unable to touch my toes to mastering the splits — I felt compelled to share this transformative practice with others. Barre has not only improved my physical strength and flexibility, it has also deepened my connection with my body and boosted my overall well-being. With over 10 years of barre experience, I recently became a certified Master Instructor through IBBFA, equipping me with the skills to lead others on their fitness journeys. I am certified in all types of barre including prenatal barre. My mission in creating New Ways Barre is to provide a welcoming space where people can build community, improve their physical fitness, and cultivate a deeper connection with their inner selves. I am beyond grateful to be part of your journey and look forward to supporting you every step of the way.

Madison Bull

Madison is a resident of Gaithersburg and lives in the Kentlands. She was born and raised in Virginia Beach. She started teaching barre in 2021 very shortly after she had moved to Montgomery County Maryland. It was love at first tuck! After her first class, she wasted no time working her way to become an instructor. It was an amazing workout that involved a lot of ballet technique that Madison had picked up from her background in dance. Madison danced recreationally for 16 years and competitively for 6 of those years. She even spent a few years teaching dance to kids ages 3-18+. In college, Madison studied a lot of anatomy and physiology while she worked in outpatient physical therapy for 4 years. There she gained experience assisting rehabbing patients and teaching them proper, safe body alignment.  Before barre, Madison loved to strength train in the gym with friends as she continued to grow her passion for fitness. She is trained and certified in several barre formats and whether you are a looking for barre for beginners or advanced barre classes, she is always happy to help you meet your goals!

Lisa Cline - Barre Teacher

Lisa Cline

Lisa Cline lives in the Kentlands community and has taken over 1000 classes since discovering barre following back injury a decade ago. She loves the ’shrink wrap’ effect of the barre methodology and its emphasis on posture. “I’ve grown a quarter of an inch!” Go-to positions include diamond thigh, side plank, and all those elongating stretches in between set-ups. She is certified by International Barre & Ballet Fitness Association (IBBFA) and works full-time as an advertising copywriter.

Francesca Yanga

Francesca Yanga

Francesca is a Montgomery County resident with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and a passion for helping others feel connected to their bodies. She brings experience in deep assisted stretching and is currently pursuing her Barre certification through the International Ballet Barre Fitness Association (IBBFA).

After five years of weightlifting, Francesca discovered barre was the missing piece—helping her build a stronger mind-to-muscle connection and transform her body in new ways. She’s passionate about helping others experience that same connection so no one feels disconnected from their movement.

Francesca is also a NASM-certified Nutrition Coach and Corrective Exercise Specialist, and enjoys guiding clients on how to support their overall fitness and wellness journey both inside and outside the studio.
